Saturday ride, Triathlon, New Pali trail
I can't believe I live on an island 100 miles across and I find trails like this for the first time, with seeing only one other couple during a weekend. Primo...and the tri confirmed, I am back and ready to rage.

There were strawberry guava everywhere...I love this new trail.

Coco loved it also, she could swim in water almost the whole time.

Then we get out to this open field, where there is a fresh water resevoir, with fish. I couldn't believe it.

Pumpkin pecan pan cakes
I made these the same as the other almond flour pancakes, but just used 1/2 cup of pure pumpkin, some maple syrup instead of the honey and put 1 tsp of cloves, cinnamon in it, and 1/4 cup pecans. My new fav, I'm glad I am riding because I ate the whole stack.

Pineapple, Mango, bacon...sweet and salty fix

I rode my mountain bike out to Ka'ena Point again, it is my new favorite ride from the house.

Run from the Pali lookout and swim in Kailua

More good food ideas
BST - Bacon sprout tomato snack

I have some rainbow chard and spinach down in the garden, that I add to my eggs in the morning.

Filet on the grill, with purple sweet potato/greek yogurt, and porabello, onion, garlic topper

Want to play all day and have a fast dinner. Put a pork roast in the crock put. When you get home, shred, put butter, cumin, lime in a pan and fry for a minute or two, put on taro chips, or shell for an awesome dinner.
75 mile bike ride around the west side of the island to the North Shore
This is Ka'ena Point, the furthest west northwest you can go on the island. Not very many people go out to this point because you can only get there by bike or hike.

End of the road, time to hike

Amazing views looking at the west part of the island to the south west

We had an awesome group do the 75 mile ride, with half on cross bikes, or commuter bikes, it was a blast.

I finally saw my doctor this week, and he said that I was ready for some physical therapy. Hehe...I didn't tell him that I road 275 miles this week, incase he told me I was not ready. I feel awesome. I by-passed feeling normal, to my crazy ways again. I signed up for a triathlon next weekend at Ko'olina lagoons, there are 4 lagoons, and you swim and run to the next one, it sounds like alot of fun.
