MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Christmas tomorrow, we have had a great vacation so far, skiing, riding, running, visiting with family, Vegas is crazy. We are planning on hiking with the whole family tomorrow and going to a comedy show the next day. We head home on Friday, because I have to work on Sat. and then Kevin leaves for Texas on 1 Jan, already dreading the departure. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, we miss you all.

My brother Tav and Krissy bought us tickets to a Vegas show, Mystere, it was really good. It was all those muscle men holding each other up by one hand and climbing polls effortlessly, we have a new respect for Vegas performers.

We are in Vegas for Christmas, we have done a couple epic rides already, Red Rock and Lake Mead ride. We rode almost 4 hours today in preparation for Christmas dinner tomorrow.

We got the best snow on our trip to Brian Head, Ut from Vegas. We went for a couple days skiing to get our snow fix. We got 2ft of powder when we woke up the next day. It was a totally different style of skiing, you can tell by my awesome form, not. It was so fun, and easy on the legs.

The Sunset from Pima Canyon was beautiful this evening when I went on a run after work. Kevin has one more test next week and then he will be done for a while with work and school while he is in Texas for Intel school. He will be doing an Accounting class on-line but his load will be way easier then he has seen in a while, since he started his Masters. We are going on vacation on the 20th, we only have a week so we decided to stay close and go to Moab for some cross country skiing and mountain biking and then meeting my family in Vegas for Christmas. Should be fun. Hawaii will have to wait unfortanetly, we need more then a week to hang out with everyone.

Me and Kevin ran Finger Rock yesterday in the rain after I got back from my $150 night of camping in the rain in "Pee"nix, Mt Lemmon got its first snow down to 7000 ft. I was signed up to do the Dawn to dusk Solo but we got a pretty significant amount of rain, so I drove up to Pheonix and camped hoping that it would stop by morning, but it was raining harder. I did not want to trash my bike, neither did my mechanic Chris. I got a really bad vibe from a couple people that worked the race, you could not park at the venue you had to park a few miles away and catch a shuttle, that's what you really want to worry about when you are racing. Also they did not even want to talk to you when you would ask about a refund or putting the money toward another race, which is understandable, but they were dicks about it. So I came home and ran for free.

Dawn to Dusk Solo Mountain bike race $100

Gas to Peenix $40

Camping in the rain $12

Running with Kevin in the rain Priceless! Literally!
