The deal is done, we officially own 10 acres in Sandpoint Idaho. If everything works out we'll have a sweet cabin one day to hang out with family and friends. Bring your ski's, snowboards, sailboats, swim suits, bikes, canoes, wakeboards, snowmobiles, fishing poles, rifles, jet ski's, golf clubs, kites, snow shoes, kayaks, hiking boots and surf boards, no wait, you can leave your surfboards at home. Posted by Picasa

Mt Lemmon got dumped on again, this is what it looked like today from Windy Point. I guess I didn't get my snow fix when I was in Idaho. I left today on my bike around 10 with a goal of getting to windy point, I didn't know how low the snow levels had gotten. Windy Points at the 14 mile marker and they we're turning cars around without chains at 15, worked out perfect. It was definitely one of the top 10 coolest hand moments on the trip down, should have brought my gore-tex gloves. Had a good week, lots of riding this weekend, I got a night run in with Todd friday night. The highlight of the week was getting to hang out with Ben and Lisa. They went to Cabo for a wedding and planned a few days in Tucson on their way back. We went and made sure that the scorpion bowls at Kon Tiki's still have as much alcohol as they used to, yep, they do. It was good to see you guys.  Posted by Picasa

I was super excited to get to see my buddy John Vaught and his family this past weekend, they stopped over in Tucson for the weekend on their way to moving to San Diego. John is one of my best from Tucson that I used to train with like a mad-man, we hadn't seen each other for over 5 yrs. They moved to Oklahoma City five yrs ago so that John could go to bible school, since then he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I remember him telling me over a year ago, it has definitely changed my views on alot of things. It makes me realize that anything can happen and that we should never take a single thing for granted especially our health. Just knowing John I knew that if anyone was going to beat it, it was going to be him. It's good to see he's doing good and on his way to a full recovery. Who knows, in a few months he might be ragin on the bike scene in San Diego. Posted by Picasa

Well I made it to Alabama today. I am really happy with my room it has a full kitchen and I have my own bathroom which I heard I had to share. Me and Kevin had a blast on our vacation, here is a picture of the whole fam dam. We loved it so much that we are in the process of buying 10 acres on a hill in Sandpoint Id, down the street from the ski resort. We are so excited. We have dreams of building a log cabin there some day. Already anxious to get back to Tucson in 6 weeks, the weather was beautiful before I left, 70 deg. Posted by Picasa

OK don't ever make fun of people that fall off the ski lift. I made fun of this guy at Park City and told Kevin, "Who falls off the chair lift" well it happens to the best of us. We had a primo day at Sweitzer with the best snow, the only line we saw all day was when I stopped the chair lift after I fell off and rolled under the chair and Kevin just laughed and got the camera out. I am officially a retard. Posted by Picasa
