I guess I can't complain.....
We got snow on the Mt. and on my only day off Kevin and I were climbing to the top of Mt Lemmon. We packed all our warm clothes and headed across town on Sunday. The cops closed the roads at the base of Mt. Lemmon because there was gravel on the road...What...I told them we were mountain bikers and we were willing to take the risk...they didn't care.
So we decided to ride across the wash up sunrise...swimming anyone?

I have been trying to fatten up Kevin for the winter, even with a pound of butter he loses weight.

Just about 10 more days of 12 hour shifts and then I am dreaming of paradise. Work has been hectic with Haiti support and training has decreased to 15 minutes on a stationary bike during lunch. Saturday I will be working 12 hours instead of racing the first race of the year the U of A crit. I was really sad about work and not riding but I try to put things in perspective all the people suffering in Haiti, no houses, showers, electricity, eating anything they can get thier hands on, we really do have it good. And with Hawaii coming up soon, how can I complain. If you think you had a bad day....Think again!

A little rusty on our camping....
Kevin and I headed up to Phoenix last weekend to check out our last supercross race for a while. We had a great time and ended up last minute camping at Estrella so we could hit some trails the next morning. We forgot a few things but survived with all of this stuff:) I think we are becoming wusses, it was 75 degrees in this picture and Kevin has his hat on. I thought my titanium mountain bike was invincible, guess not. I miss riding it and it has only been a week. Titus will hopefully fix it and send it back. I have been working alot for the Haiti earthquake support. I work a 12 hour shift in the morning and not looking forward to it, but it feels good to be working for a good cause. I have two full time jobs right now trying to train for a few races before I leave for Hawaii. It has been suprisingly fun training with my friends Mel and Chloe, they are hammer heads. The first workouts I was kicking and screaming but it is starting to feel better now.

Hawaii Bound

It's official, we're moving back to Oahu! Not sure when I'm going to be there but Spring will be there at the end of February. It's a tough life, but somebody has to do it! Looking forward to catching up with our Hawaii friends and neighbors!
Broke ground on patio #2 on Friday, we're also putting in a 6' wall with a gate.
