Happy New Year!!!

We made it Salt Lake, it got down to 0 degrees last night but we stayed warm in the van with our down bags. Today we hit Park City for some skiing, we thought there would be tons of snow here but they're actually needing some snow. Conditions where good but we're wanting some fresh powder, we'll keep our fingers crossed for Idaho. We're leaving in the morning and should be in Idaho by tomorrow night, tonight we're chillin at a campground in Park City.

Got in 2 good days of mtb'ing. Yesterday Austin, Spring and I went to Fantasy Island and today Austin and I hit Starr Pass. It's the first time I've ridden SP since I've moved back, I forgot how fun it was. I just met Austin a few weeks ago when I was at Nellis, we'll be working together. He currently lives in Phoenix but will be moving to Tucson in the future. It'll be good to have someone from work to ride with. We got our first snow on Mt. Lemmon last night, I was hoping we would get more but it looks like it just dusted the back peak. Posted by Picasa

We finally made it back to The Old Pueblo last Friday. We've spent the last week moving into our new place. Its a five minute drive to base and a 15 minute easy bike ride to the U of A, we're psyched. It was a pretty big task going from a 4 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom house but we really like it. We got a good weekend of training in with the group ride yesterday and a climb to windy point today. The fitness is starting to come around for both of us but we have tons of work to do before we'll be winning any races. We decided for our ski trip we're going to drive to Salt Lake, ski a few days then head up to Idaho to see the family do some more skiing at Schwitzer then ski some more on our way back down thru Salt Lake, we can't wait, bring on the snow. That's it for now, we're going to bed.

OK, I am finally out of hibernation mode and back with friends and family. I made it through almost 4 months in Mississippi, barely. I get to hang out until Jan 10th and then 6 more weeks of training in Alabama and then I am done. We leave Vegas on Wed and head back to Tucson, I am looking forward to seeing everyone, and I am missing the shoot out and Mt. Lemon, well let me just say, I will never complain about the desert again. I love Tucson.

We ate dinner at my brother's house last night and it was his girlfriend's birthday, they have been dating for four months, pretty serious, and she is very cute and sweet. Posted by Picasa
